Driving tips for learners

DRIVING TIPS FOR LEARNERS

Driving is not a competition;it doesn’t impress anybody if you drive fast in the wrong places.
Follow the rules of the road.drive like you own the car,not the road!
Drive at a safe following distance.do not tail gate.(practice of driving too close to the vehicle in front).
Aggressive driving (speeding, rapid acceleration and braking)can cause wastage of fuel.
Clutch pedal is not your footrest.avoid driving with your foot resting on the clutch pedal.
Distracted driving:
The mental turmoil may be in the form of visual, manual or cognitive.
Visual:taking your eyes off the road
Manual:taking your hands off the road
Cognitive:taking your mind off what you are doing.
Avoid using mobile phones;using hands free device is also not safer, bcz the cognitive workload causes the risk.
Drive safely and in a way that suits your ability and traffic conditions.HAPPY DRIVING!!
